Purple Sky Counseling is a prominent mental health and counseling center, operating as a group practice specializing in Trauma and Mental Health. We are a team of passionate therapists who emphasize ongoing education, fostering connection, and providing exceptional care to those we serve.
We are seeking a few therapists to join our Farmington team to enhance the lives of our clients. We are currently looking for Licensed Therapists that have experience and expertise in Play Therapy, Trauma and want to work with Children, Teens and Families.
Joining our team you will work with leading experts in the field of trauma and EMDR. We have an incredible team of therapists and providers that work collaboratively and consistently with each other. Purple Sky values clinicians and seeks to support them so they can be amazing therapists.

Responsibilities:
Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based trauma interventions.
Utilize play therapy techniques to engage and support child clients in their healing process.
Collaborate with a team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Stay current with research and advancements in trauma and play therapy to enhance therapeutic approaches.
Active participation in staff meetings and Deep Dive Trainings.
Maintaining compliance with clinical notes, assessments, and billing.
Ensuring HIPAA compliant confidentiality.
Upholding professional credentials and licensing requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or other trauma-focused modalities such as ART, Brainspotting, Somatic Processing, IFS, etc.
Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Experience working with Trauma, Attachment Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Autism and/or ADHD.
Education/Experience:
Minimum Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
Experience working with Children, Teens and Families
Previous experience in play therapy.
Salary:
Competitive salary based on licensure level and extensive experience: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour.
Clinical supervision is available if needed.
